Faded Dept. is a barber and clothing shop in Austin, Texas, founded by Joseph Castellon, a licensed barber & clothing brand owner.

Joseph’s journey began with his father, Ted “The Barber” Castellon, owner of Ted’s Barbershop. After his passing, Joseph continued the legacy—picking up the clippers and building his own path with passion.

After taking a barber class at Lehman High School and earning his barber license as a senior in the class of 2025, Joseph followed in his father’s footsteps—creating Faded Dept. and opening his own shop shortly after graduating.

Today, Faded Dept. operates as a one-man private barber and clothing shop, delivering quality with passion.
